CHEMICAL KINETICS USING BI SULFATE AND IODINE PRESENTATION IN TENNESSEE FOR CCURI

During my undergraduate studies, I was involved with the Community College Undergraduate Research Institute (CCURI). This program held a national science symposium every semester based on undergraduate research. My lab partner and I were one of only two teams from California selected to present. Our research was based on a kinetics clock reaction, which essentially entails the study of a catalyst and its effect on a reaction. Our results showed increases in rate of the completion of the reaction depending on the different concentrations of both reactants as well as the catalyst.
