ANNUAL LMC WALK ON WATER ENGINEERING COMPETITION

During my involvement with the Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Club as a Treasurer officer, we took part in the Annual Los Medanos College Walk on Water Engineering competition. As a leading officer in the club, I worked alongside the president in organizing meetings with the members and leading the team in designing prototypes. We modeled and tested our prototypes, learning from the failures and improving our models over a few months. After competing, we won first place in two separate categories and received press attention in the local paper.
