LEADERSHIP

NATIONAL SOCIETY OF LEADERSHIP AND SUCCESS PRESIDENT
After experiencing my first year as a transfer student, I felt like there was more we could do as a school to reinforce student's skills in leadership and team building outside of classes. By starting a chapter of NSLS here in Long Beach, we have touched the lives of many. Some of my responsibilities included communicating and orchestrating all logistics with the other members of the executive board in our efforts of outreach, humanitarian, and philanthropic pursuits for our club, and ultimately, the betterment of society.

AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING PRESIDENT
Starting out first as a senator officer and then moving my way up to President was one of the many ways I felt I could give back to the students. Working with other officers, managing events and activities, welcoming guest speakers, managing club office hours, and hosting field trips were just a few of my duties.

PROPULSION SYSTEMS FOR THE CHEMICAL ENGINEERING CAR
CAPTAIN
Getting involved with the chemical engineering club gave way to a variety of activities and projects to work on- one being the Annual Chemical Engineering Car competition. By working as a Co Captain, I got to lead our team to make our car cross the finish line using hydrogen!

WOMEN IN SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATHEMATICS OFFICER
As a believer in equal representation and rights for women in the workforce, I found it important to reflect my support through my college clubs by taking initiative as an officer. Organizing group discussions weekly, maintaining email contact with members, orchestrating group projects and providing support to the student president were some of my responsibilities.

AMERICAN INSTITUTE FOR AERONAUTICS AND ASTRONOMICS SENATOR OFFICER
Being brand new to a big school meant a ton of opportunities to explore. As the senator officer for this club, I was able to help brainstorm about rockets, stay involved with special field trips, and maintain the club's funding.
